Birth control, price, and questions.?

I'm 16, and i've had sex once (with my 16 year old bf).

Still i know some people are going to say we're to young, but we have been dating for over a year.

Anyway the first time we had sex he used a condom but i guess we both decided it would be best if he used a condom and i had birth control because we don't want any unplanned pregnancy's.

My parents are extremely hard to talk to about this topic and i do plan on trying to talk to them again but basically they told me just not to have sex. They don't really understand.

Therefore i want birth control and i've looked up a few places (planned parenthood) near by but i don't know how much they would cost? i've heard people pay $55 a month and i really don't have that sort of moneyBirth control, price, and questions.?
You can easily check your minimal health care rates in internet, for example here - health-quotes.talk4fun.netBirth control, price, and questions.?
A lot of planned parenthoods have a program that allows teens to get birth control for free, or at least at a much lower price (it depends if you have a job and how much you make) If you call them before you go, because I'm pretty sure you need an appt for birth control anyway, they will tell you how much it will cost and what documentation to bring if you are going to get it for free.
you can get the shot you get it every 3 months and its only like $15. tell your mom that you want it so your peroids are more regualar. if you need a reason. im 17 and last year i told my parents that i was ';active'; and she FREAKEd she called his parents and she had liikke a break down. so if oyur mom is anything like mine. im sorry. lol. but umm. i tld her and she was cool with it eventually and i got BC right away
By birth control, you mean the pill right? I'm on one called Dianne, it costs about $40 for three months worth. I had to get a prescription from the doctor for it though.
Walmart sells two varieties for 9.00 per month, you need a prescription...

Planned parenthood has separate plans, no prescription, and maybe free pills..go ask....
YOU DONT NEED BIRTH CONTROL

HAVE SEX WHEN YOURE MARRIED LIKE YOURE SUPPOST TO

YOU THINK ITS COOL HAVING SEX AT 16 ???

WELL ITS NOT
I'm on Tri-Sprintec and I get my pills at Walmart for $10.
that's what they all say at your age...oh well mom and dad just don't understand...as if they were just magically adults...let me tell ya something...your parents were 16 once too and just like you your parents said the same thing about their parents....every single person thinks they're mature enough to have sex at 16....my first time was with my gf at 15....i said the same thing about my parents not understanding...well i was wrong...you will discover someday that you are wrong too....i know what it feels like to be 16...it wasn't that long ago...i'm only 21....you're gonna have sex no matter what people say....so the best bet is just go to the walmart pharmacy and get birth control or the morning after pill and have your bf continue to use condoms...that's the best bet....
Make an appointment with the people at planned parenthood and they will help you. They'll see if you have insurance and a lot of people that get birth control through them for relatively cheap or even free depending on your situation. I was on the pill for years and it cost $10 a month and just from my regular GYN dr. So talk to them about it. And congrats for really wanting to protect yourself- 16 isn't too young if you're being responsible about it and have been with the guy for quite awhile like you say you have been. I lost it at 16 too and we'd been together 9 months. We're still together and i'm a junior in college now. So be safe and i'm sure you'll find something affordable! =)
