If they are price controlled, why are Oakley sunglasses so much more expensive in Singapore than USA?

An example would be a pair costs USD150 but in Singapore it is SGD400 which is roughly USD275. Freight can't be that expensive. If they are price controlled, why are Oakley sunglasses so much more expensive in Singapore than USA?
The price may be controlled by the manufacturer, but they may choose to set different prices for different regions. For example, in Singapore, there are reasons to buy Oakleys that aren't present as strongly in the USA, for example to look more Western, because they aren't as common in Singapore, because ';made in the USA'; (or designed) has a stronger meaning in countries where American-made is seen as better than locally made. If there are these additional reasons to purchase, Oakley may set the price higher both to take advantage of this (selling more than just sunglasses), and also to make the product seem more exclusive - which is one of the main reasons why people want to buy them. When someone buys Oakleys, it isn't just for the eye protection, there's a lot of style, image etc associated with it, and it's possible that this image is greater outside of the USA.If they are price controlled, why are Oakley sunglasses so much more expensive in Singapore than USA?
it's probably price controlled by the agents - as in the agents has to charge x dollars for a pair of sunglasses

the higher cost (dead weight loss) is probably because of the import tax
because they are made in the u.s...
